The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine
presents the
LIMOLI SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
We invite your participation!
This award is presented annually to the senior dental student who presents an in-depth understanding of the practice management skills necessary to deal with the complex issues of third party reimbursement. The University of Pennsylvania Department of Practice Management recommends junior students to submit an article suitable for publication concerning personal experiences or research data relating to dental insurance. The Limoli Insurance Reimbursement Award is based on the student's presentation of various 3rd party reimbursement payment strategies, reporting systems, and the proper use of ADA codes.
Established in 1998 by a grant to the University from Dr. Tom M. Limoli, this award was designed to enhance the understanding of what dental insurance brings to the profession in terms of patient flow, cash flow and the relationship to the practice of dentistry. The award seeks to confirm that dental insurance itself is not the problem - the problematic issue is the interpretation of plan design as set by labor and management.
On behalf of the memory of Dr. Tom M. Limoli, Atlanta Dental Consultants, Inc. / Limoli and Associates welcomes interested parties to expand the perpetuity of this grant as well as advance the scholarship gift itself. Please direct your inquiries to:
